TURKEY WEEK IS OVER!!
During the week of November 2nd through November 8th, the Kearney USBC bowler that bowled the most pins over their average in every adult league received a gift certificate from Grand Central Apple Market for a free turkey up to $25 in value. The bowler used their current average in the league that they bowled in (average must have been based on at least 12 games – only bowlers with at least 12 games in the league qualified for a turkey in that league). The local association compiled the winners for each league from the score sheets submitted to them for that week. Winners are were posted on our website as soon as they were determined (www.kearneybowling.com). Bowlers must have bowled during their regular scheduled session to qualify (pre-bowled or post-bowled games did not count). Certificates were given to the league secretary for distribution to the winners during the week of November 9th through November 15th. Leagues received a gift certificate for every playing strength of 50 bowlers (or fraction there of) in their league. A bowler could win only one turkey during the week. In case of a tie, fractional pins were used to determine the winner. If a tie still existed, multiple certificates were awarded. NOTE: The local association collected score sheets and compiled the scores and determined the winners in each league.
